Article Submission Checklist
International Journal of Contemporary Research and Literacy Works (IJCRL)
Before submitting your manuscript to IJCRL, please carefully review and complete the following checklist to ensure your submission adheres to the journal’s requirements. Incomplete or improperly formatted submissions may be returned for revision prior to peer review.
1. General Requirements
- The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- The work fits within the scope and focus areas of IJCRL.
- The manuscript is written in fluent English, clear, and free from grammatical or typographical errors.
- All authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.
2. Manuscript Preparation
- The manuscript follows the IJCRL formatting guidelines:
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
- The manuscript includes the following sections (as applicable):
- Title Page
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (3–6 terms)
- Introduction
- Literature Review
- Methodology / Theoretical Framework
- Results / Findings
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References (Chicago Manual of Style)
- Appendices (if applicable)
- Acknowledgments (optional)
- All figures and tables are properly numbered, titled, and cited within the text.
3. Author Information
- Full names of all authors, along with:
- Institutional affiliations
- ORCID iDs (if available)
- Email addresses
- The corresponding author is clearly identified and includes complete contact information.
- Any conflicts of interest or financial disclosures are stated.
4. Anonymized Version for Peer Review
- A blinded (anonymized) version of the manuscript is included, with all author-identifying information removed.
- Author names, institutional details, and self-referencing content have been deleted or generalized (e.g., “Author [Institution]”).
- File properties (metadata) do not include author names or affiliations.
5. References and Citations
- All sources cited in the manuscript are listed in the References section using the Chicago Style (17th edition).
- In-text citations are consistent and accurate.
- Where applicable, DOIs, URLs, and access dates are included for online sources.
6. Supplementary Materials (Optional)
- Any supplementary data (e.g., datasets, appendices, multimedia files) are clearly labeled and submitted as separate files.
- Proper permissions and descriptions are provided.
7. Submission Declaration
- A cover letter is included, briefly stating:
- The title and nature of the submission
- Confirmation of originality
- Declaration of no simultaneous submission
- Description of the paper's significance or contribution
- The copyright statement is acknowledged:
“I/we retain copyright of this manuscript and agree to its publication under the CC BY 4.0 license.”
- The author(s) have reviewed the Journal Policies, Reviewer Guidelines, and Privacy Statement.
8. Final Submission
- Manuscript and supplementary files are ready for upload.
- Submission is made via:

- The submitting author will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.
