Author Guidelines
International Journal of Contemporary Research and Literacy Works (IJCRL)
1. Submission Overview
- IJCRL welcomes original, unpublished manuscripts including research articles, theoretical analyses, critical reviews, case studies, and book reviews.
- Submissions should align with the journal’s multidisciplinary scope.
- Manuscripts must be written in English and prepared in accordance with the formatting requirements outlined below.
2. Manuscript Structure
Submissions should follow this general format:
- Title Page (Article Title, Author(s), Affiliation, ORCID iD, Contact Information)
- Abstract (150–250 words summarizing the key points)
- Keywords (3–6 descriptive keywords)
- Introduction
- Literature Review (if applicable)
- Methodology / Theoretical Framework
- Results / Findings
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References (Chicago Style)
- Appendices (if any)
- Acknowledgments (optional)
3. Formatting Guidelines
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
- Alignment: Justified text, page numbers bottom-right
- Word Count: 4,000 to 8,000 words (excluding references and appendices)
4. Citation & Reference Style
- Use the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition) for all in-text citations, footnotes (if used), and the bibliography.
- Examples:
- Book: Pollan, Michael. The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals. New York: Penguin, 2006.
- Journal Article: Weinstein, Joshua I. “The Market in Plato’s Republic.” Classical Philology 104, no. 4 (2009): 439–58.
5. Peer Review Process
- All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review to ensure quality and originality.
- Reviewers evaluate the clarity, methodology, relevance, and scholarly contribution of each submission.

6. How to Submit

- Ensure the file is anonymized for peer review (remove author identifiers).
7. Ethics & Plagiarism
- Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication.
- All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism detection software.
- Any conflict of interest must be disclosed in the submission.
8. Publication Charges
- IJCRL is open access and currently does not charge any publication or processing fees.
